Oakland Zoo Teen Wild Guides (TWGs) Teen volunteers at the Oakland Zoo develop skills such as public speaking and working with children. As a TWG myself, I have learned a lot about the animals at the zoo and about conservation. Dr. Herman, the Director of Veterinary Services at the Oakland Zoo Veterinary Hospital, was one of the speakers at the panel event.
